Kristina Mullenix is a Freelance Editor with Juniper Creek Editing & Literary Services. She grew up in the red clay soil of Alabama, writing stories and poems beneath the shade of giant oak trees. A 2004 graduate of Mount Mary University (Milwaukee, WI), she holds a B.A. in History, with Honors. In her work as a Freelance Editor, she works with a variety of independent authors, small publishing companies, and writing consultant groups. Her background also includes 5 years within the realm of education and she has worked with students from pre-K to grade 6, as well as experience as a Coordinator of the English Department at a school in Guatemala.
She stretches her writing muscles by writing poetry and creative fiction, and is a contributing feature author for Southern Roots Magazine. Kristina is a member of the Gulf Coast Writers Association, the National Association of Professional Women, and since 2014 has served as a Selection Committee member of the Magnolia Literary Award.
